Telling a story is a tough thing to do. Engaging the reader, getting them to follow you. Surprising them. Getting them to actually CARE. A great story, it's more fantastical than anything a magician has performed on stage, more cunning than the work of the world's best con artist. The storyteller survives eternally through the reader, through their mind and their heart. The great stories, they come alive.
My stories? I don't expect as much. I'll settle for a chuckle.
